2 Tanks relined in 2nd level basement of multi-storey building. The tanks are used for an emergency backup power system. The tanks were originally installed during the construction of the building, and now space and site access limitations mean that it is not possible to pull it out the tanks and replace. The choice is to decommission or remove them piecemeal, and replace with an above-ground tank (“footprint” limitation) or decommission and shut down the emergency generator set with associated risk. Relining minimises interruption to car park access and is an elegant solution to a problem being experienced at many older multi-storey sites.
